"What Do You Do For Fun?"

Except its a personal question and the private life of the employee is not the company's business. Especially people in Anglophone countries seem to have a natural aversion to disclosing personal details for some reason, and try to keep work and life separate, and in certain countries in Europe, such questions can land you in legal trouble.

Its not a good question to ask. Even if you could rationalize it somehow in an environment where its legal, people could not tell things out of fear of social stigma - people watch Anime, entertain themselves with gaming, do all kinds of things which are still stigmatized in the society. The interviewee cannot know what side of the divide you stand at and may not feel comfortable sharing.
