Thats both true and also untrue at the same time: Its true that the racist segments in the Spanish society would be negatively disposed towards Hispanoamericans, but its also true that even the racist segments accept Hispanoamericans much easier than English speakers of white origin. Hispanoamericans are 'cousins'. Whereas the latter are foreigners. The Hispanoamericans get to hear what the locals think, be those opinions positive or negative. But the latter is generally kept at a distance.

However there seems to be a specific xenophobia towards black people who cant directly be identified as Hispanoamerican immediately - as there are many African refugees who get caught up in crime webs, many Spaniards seem to be wary of black people. That seems to be valid for both the normal segments and the racist segments. That is without saying that South American crime syndicates seem to have higher activity in Spain recently and this is shaping perceptions.
