Neither Black Plague or influenza pandemic, nor German peasant uprisings are comparable to this current phenomenon. All of those were related to the supply/demand situation inside the existing work arrangement, or people wanting a better deal from the existing system. The Great Resignation seems to be a phenomenon in which people are fed up with the existing system and they leave it behind.
