Capitalist democracy is collapsing. Because the two terms in that definition are contradictory - the interest of the rich few contradicts the interests of the many, and capitalism allows the rich few to control politics, and as a result, the economy. That's why US and UK are collapsing.

Though, even an actual collapse that is sane and understandable would be much better - US and UK are literally going postal, deranged, self-destroying for profit while claiming to be on top of the world and snubbing everyone else even as they tumble down the hill at breakneck speed.
